osceola turkey

    I took this pic while turkey hunting in FL last week. I had killed the turkey on the ground then the other turkey decided to take out and old grudge on him.

    Congrats on a good hunt John. Really good picture too. I never killed anything but easterns. Birds haven't said much up here yet. Most years i can hear a few from my back deck but haven't this year.

    Awsome. We have merriams and a very few Rio's in my area. I think the Oceola is about one of the coolest looking turkeys .

    Congrats on the hunt John. Gotta agree, those Osceola turkeys are beautiful birds. The majority of the turkeys we have around here are Merriams, Rios and their hybrids. Maybe some Eastern in the east part of the state. Enjoy the success. NICE JOB!!:wink:

    [​IMG] I called my hunting buddy on my cell phone and he slipped up and killed the other turkey he was still fighting the turkey on the ground. This is a pic of both of them.
