I wish that I could say I found this shop in Arkansas so I could make fun of them, but alas this was in Oklahoma. What's the best combination to sell at a bait shop.:smile2::smile2::tounge_out::tounge_out::eek:oooh:

One stop shop there. I dont know if you are familiar with the Keystone Dam area, but the bait shop I believe it is 240, cant remember the name of it, had it going on there. It had a "Gentlemens" club right next to it. I wonder how many fishermen never made it fishing after stopping in there?

Lol Chris...that's a good one alright.

Places like that are a rarity anymore.

My personal fav....the old "lillypad" bar in Oswego, Kansas. (Close to the Neosho river)

It was a bar with a baitshop out back...that was open 24/7. (There was a bell you rang afterhours which summoned the attendant)

And if he knew ya...he'd sell you beer afterhours or on sunday.

bastrop, texas had ray's place. you walk in the front door between the two concrete minnow (shiner) tanks and then sit at a table and order fish or enchaladas or walk to the bar and get a cold one. hard to find good places nowdays.

Hell...they already have booze...bait...and probly slim jims with the cheese in the pack, chips, and pickled polish sausages and eggs.

That covers at least 4 food groups...wouldn't pickled eggs be considered a fruit or a vegetable?

What more does a catfisherman need?? :cool2:
