man im glad i dont live there. doesnt look like the pirannah ive seen but none the less would put out a hell of a bite.

i think common pirannah have razor teeth not like the pic. may be another species though.

    I think that's called a tigerfish. They're from Africa.

I'm glad we don't have those around here. Imagine noodling and sticking your hand into a nest of those.

well i know it not a common pir, cuz there teeth are designed to rip flesh off like a tiger shark. that fish would inflict serious bites but the teeth are not the type to tear flesh off quickly like the serrated teeth of a piranah.

theres a show on animal planet right now with host nigel marvin. its about piranah. the natives cut his hair with the jaws. the top and bottom jaw were seperate and clean of coure but they were smacking them togather and the hair was just falling to the ground. natives named sizzors after the fish. they were scoring them through the scales and flesh every 2-3 16th's whole fish and topping with salt and whole fresh herbs wrapping with a bananna leaf and cooking. looked good.

nigel marvin got in the water chest deep with heavy rubber waders on and held a duck under the water by the foot. 2 1/2 minutes it was boned.
