How many times are we going to fight this battle? And would we end up like the FL vs GA battle over what and how many of what size we can catch and keep in saltwater? What will be next on the agenda, first fish in the boat first fish kept then we go home? Just trying to point out both sides of the argument.
    Regards,

I've got an idea. Let's just put a no limit at all on everything. Keep all you want, any species. Sell em, give em away, who cares? Would that suit ya?

No, you evidently miss the entire point of my argument. You advocate the limiting of the fish I may catch - and keep - to "one per person per day over 34", " correct? And all the while the State of Georgia is using both your dollars and mine to shock them up and destroy the selfsame catfish we are speaking of! This is sort of like saying we are going to hire 'professional' hunters to control the deer poulation but you won't be allowed to shoot one, don't you think? My entire point of reference was that we should stop killing them wholesale before we put some sort of limit on them.
