When I need time to myself I go to one of two ponds on one of our farms. One pond is man made about 30 years old the other is a slue from the hatchie river that the beaver dam up and keeps it maintained. The beaver pond has nest for ducks we put out.

Ya its nice to have ponds of your own to fish in. We have several--its pretty convenient. Not looking forward to graduating and moving away from home though. If I want to get into the big bucks I'll probably have to live in town. Not real excited about that.

That sounds good fella. Any place where I can hunt or fish, especially fish is perfect for me.
    Tight lines to you.

The beaver pond has never been stocked. It has huge bass, croppie, bream, catfish. thats where we put the nest for the ducks. The other pond has the same.

The other side of that mountain/hill was Lake Superior. Was very quiet up there in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I could go deer hunting or fishing and never see another person or a power line...kinda miss all of that...but I sure don't miss the winters....LOL.:)

Rusty, Ken, Man you guys have and had some really nice fishing spots. That is one thing I miss the most about college is not having mine close by. The one in the background of my picture is my favortie. That pond is located on the family farm and has some big fish. Cross your fingers that we don't loose it in the divorce. But I have plenty of backups at least.

Get her some cement shoes and throw her in. That way you can keep the farm and when you fish the pond she'll be right there with you. LOL
