Guys, I think I've been blessed this year. Went out last night with my short-bus riding, buddy Ben Noll. I took him to the spot where I caught that 49 pounder last week and put him right on top of them. Poor Fker never even got a good run.

I, on the other hand caught this sweet little 30 pounder, right after we anchored up. I think we coulda caught a couple more, but I couldn't get Ben to shut up long enough to find out.lol

This just might have been my last Flathead trip of the year. It's gettin cold out there fellas. I'm not gonna say never again, but the water is Soooo cold.

In that first photo, I just got the fish out of the cat-bag and he was frisky. Twice he tried to twist my wrist off, and as we took that pic he slapped me up side my head with his tail, lol. I had a great night.

I've learned two things this year fishing with Skip-he can catchem and I can clickem. Now last night he had me ducking tree limbs, fishing in briar patches, had me boxed in against the bank, wore this ol man out pulling up and throwing out his 80 pound anchor, all the while he was fishing in nice open water. What a guy.Like I said on the Ohio talk post-I ask him if his parents were retarded because he was special. Hey,the man can catch big fish, and not by accident-it was a fun year.

Another nice one there Skip! You've had a hell of a year both catching AND heliping others catch (which is just as impressive). So you're a switch hitter basically. You swing both ways:wink:
