I reckon it would be a t-bone steak cooked on the grill using kingsford charcoal and mesquite chips.. the steak has to be medium rare with all the sides, and pecan pie for desert.

I make a thing with ground beef. I put a pound of ground beef in a caserole dish, top that with a can of English or sweet peas, then a can of cream of mushroom soup, then topped with tater tots. I cover it and bake for 30 minutes. Take the lid off and bake until the tots are golden brown.... mmmmm It's good. My wife calls it that thing with tater tots....:eek:oooh:

How about no dish??,I use foil to make a packet ,Cut potatoes fairly thin, add a few pats of real butter,a whole garlic clove diced, and maybe a few thick slices of onion, wrap it up ,place on the grill away from the hot spot. It'll be done in about 1-2 hrs,Good stuff.

I can't pick just one favorite, I have two, both soups. Catfish Gumbo (pick your recipe, so many to try) and Panfish Chowder (under Bluegill Recipe in the Member Cookbook). I make them myself, use home-made fish stock.

Fish I caught myself is by far my favorite ingredient in a meal.
