If you went fishing on any normal fishing trip, and all the conditions were no different than any other time, would you want to catch one big fish or many smaller fish? What do you think?

ONE BIG ONE! For sure. I have had nights where one or the other has happened, and it's the nights when you land a hog that you remember forever. Plus it makes all your fishin' buddies jealous.

I have one answer...ALWAYS the HUGE one. I am after the record Blue Cat, at the same time I enjoy catching smaller fish on my smaller poles but they are not what I target.

I would sooner sit for a hour with no bites and the hook into a big one as to catch one fiddler after another. If I go to catching small ones I move. I figure a big one is not around or the little ones wouldn't be there.

I Just Love drifting for channel cat, It's probably one of My most favorite things to Do, and if I do say so myself I'm not to bad at it. That being said them old channel cat don't get that big, a 15 pounder is a nice one so I guess I would have to say I just Like fishing for the smaller ones. I also have many older friends that like catfish filets and I enjoy giving most of My fish that I catch away to those folks. But when I'm up at My cabin on the Missouri River I target the flatheads and Blues, I haven't cought anything large lately but I try and if I catch a Big old Boy I'll take Me a picture and let that rascal go. I think the most favorite thing I enjoy about fishing for them old cats is My time on the water and the folks I meet. Some of them being right here on the BOC. Your Friend J.D.

I'll take a mess of the smaller ones myself..I can't eat a picture, and I won't eat a huge fish either, as to me, they don't taste as good as the smaller ones do..
