I know alot of people wish they still had all that stuff. It took me three years to find a set of foxcraft CDM-51 fender skirts. The CDM stands for cut down mercury.Alot used to cut down original merc skirts to fit their 49-51 ford.Foxcraft made them to fit all you can find now is the fiberglass kind.Oh and don't forget about the license plate toppers and the plastic teardrop shaped dash controls.Nothing sounds better than an old flathead with a set of fenton cast headers going thru smitty's!!!

Had Merc. Turnpike Cruiser skirts on a '57 Ford retract that made it look longer than I been away from home:smile2::smile2: Also had a '55 Chevy that burned more oil than gas so on weekends I'd buy bulk oil in the glass bottles by the case:eek:oooh::smile2::smile2::smile2:
Those were the days. Stay safe and dream on!!!

My first car (extremely used) 50 Ford had the factory options of a radio (that went thru vibrators like crazy) an oil filter mounted on the firewall, and turn signals.

The good ole Viberator Tube, take the metal cover off it and toss the cover, then just turn the raido on and reach under the dash and give those little points in the tube a flick, worked like a charm. If I remember correctly, the viberator was 3 fingers with contact tips on each tip. You had to flick the center finger.:smile2:

I am surprised no one has listed "Curb Girls" :big_smile_2:
