We just redesigned catfish rescue to be easier to use and update. A big problem we had was responsiveness. As interested people signed the petition, it was taking us longer and longer to update the petition.

    What's worse?

When members needed a copy of the petition for local government action, we were slow to respond with the support.

We are fixed... Its now automated.

We also modified the mission statement and laser tuned what we are trying to achieve.

If you support what we are trying to achieve, please sign the petition.

You will need to confirm your e-mail upon signing, "Script Driven"..

This is a no brainer. I signed it before and I signed it again today. Hopefully this can be used as a tool to it's full potential.

Please everyone sign this. The raping of our public waters is a real problem. I hope we can get this stopped so my kids and their kids will have the chance to catch a trophy catfish.

I signed it. We don't have those kind of problems out west ,that I'm aware of. I may not allways cpr ,But selling big fish is wrong in my book,There are pay to fish lakes here for trout,But they are bought from hatcheries ,the selling of wild caught fish either live or dead is stricktly forbidden here .

Well - Here's may two cents on this issue:

    :confused2:
I was able to sign that petition, but I was not able to leave my comment on it, due to the fact that I did not have a user-name or password to do so. But if could have made one on the topic, I would have said something like this:

If catch & release of a lot of fish was practice more in pay lakes, many of these lakes would all have there own trophy Cats in them today. A lot of pay lakes out there today already have trophy fish of all species in them right now, catch & release of the fish would allow this to happen. Sure I understand that you are going to have some people out there that catch eater size cats, and there's nothing wrong with that, but the trophy cats are the ones that make that happen, and why would you want to take something like that away for the public? A lot of people can not afford to fish at pay lakes now days due to there high cost or they can't afford it because of today's up & down gas prices, and public waters are there only way of getting out there and enjoying it & intoduceing it to the little ones & not by killing each & everything that you catch, not to mention what it would do the the ecosystem of that public water that the trophy was taking from in the first place.
(Please :0a14: Give My A break)
    "IT Just Ain't Right"!
