I went out this afternoon just with a rod & reel and put in at Davis Corner, fished the west bank by Boxwell Boy Scout Camp and landed three nice channels on cut skips. Total was close to 24 pounds.

Good report, Don, that's great size for table use. Remember, Sarge will be back Sunday so you two need to meet up in the near future and swap stories and fishing holes. I live three hours away or I would come join y'all.

Is the water moving?? I would think there is some current on OH now. I went to the hend side of the dam and the flood gates were open at 630 am. I did not catch anything not even a skip. Current was brutal. Used heavy weights and was still tough fish in the swift water. I need skips....

fished for rockfish up near hwy 231, caught one close to 15lbs. The current was a nice flow, it was a nice day to be on the water doing alot of fishing it was the catching part that was not cooperating.

we had a great time i went with a friend that i don't get to fish with alot next time i'm out i will go looking mr whiskers. I can catch them more consistantly this time year than rockfish. It was nice we went in his boat no mess to clean nothing to put up when i got home, its kind of nice not being the capt and getting to enjoy the ride.
