dug up some more fishing equipment i long forgot about. this rod belonged to my grandfather and has been in my posession for some time now. anyone know about old rod values? any offers? its an "ellison hickory" brand, its in pretty good shape other than a missing connector and dust. looks to be about 6'0. not hard up or anything, just would like to find this a good home. im afraid its going to get destroyed or lost someday.

We got some members that may have fished with that rod when it was new! Not saying that any of us is old! LOL!

Dink a guy named Tater Bowens use dot own/frequent Fisherman Qts on Keowee St. A few years ago I saw him in there & he & my dad spoke for a while. This guy is prob the best & most well known rod maker in our area. He's up there in age now, but if he still hangs out @ Fishermans I am sure he could tell you anything youd want to know about that rod.
