Was wondering if anyone had any experience using this? I've got a chance to pick one up along with a PowerPro Heavy action rod....

My experience with baitcasters - zilch.

Will be mostly on lakes, but expecting to do quite a bit of river fishing this year, too..


Thoughts?

I've never used that real before, but I saw the outfit on OGF. Looks good. If I needed another outfit I would get it. But the wife would shoot me if I did.

Thanks, Jeff... my biggest concern is how it would be use to learn to baitcast compared to something like a 6500...

My wife doesn't know I'm looking at it yet - or I would be dodging bullets, too! :lol:

Might be a moot point, tho - just got email saying that it may already be sold...
