The Oklahoma squirrel season open on the 15th of May. Should have a good crop this year. We had a good mast crop and good weather last fall and winter. The greys in my yard raised 5-6 in each litter. Going to put a bunch in the freezer for next winter.

Louisiana squirrel season is from May 2 to May 24. Bag limit of 3. Down from 8 in the fall. Mosquitos are pretty bad in the swamps. I'll go a few times to kinda look for hog sign.
