How many are preparing the "traditional" economy-sized 5 gallon bucket of Black-eyed peas for January 1st????:eek:oooh::tounge_out::wink: To graciuosly choke down everyone they come in contact with on the 1st!!!! I mean these days with the recession and all can we really afford not to eat the black-eyed peas? Who all is making some?????

NOOOOO way I hate em! I ate so many of them things growing up I said I'd NEVER eat em again if I ever got where I didn't have to.

I have fixed them for John a time or 2 but I don't partake.

Now thats just nasty ! No black eyed peas here. Great northern beans, Hog Jowls and a mix of Collards, Mustard and turnip greens Lots of onion and corn bread.

I do eat black eyed peas. But I'd much rather have pink eyed purple hulls etc.
