Oil Pump Priming Tool?

    I am looking for an oil pump priming tool for a 5.0L ford engine, any suggestion? Local parts house here does not carry them,One ask me what size do I need,heck I do not know!

    1/4" socket taped to an extension will do the trick:cool2:

    Mike, What size in metric will work, someone told me it was a 6.3 but I have never heard or that.

    6mm will probably be to small and 7mm will probably be alittle to big but might work. Ive never tried it with metric before so Im not sure.

    Mike, I heard you place the drill in reverse is this correct?

    I've heard you can get an old distributor and turn the shaft in to a priming tool. It's a little over my head though.
