Dave (Skipjack) and I got on the Ohio for a few hours during the midday. We only got three channels on cut shad. Here is a photo of the largest one. Vern

Dave and I got out on the Ohio again this afternoon. I'm not sure of the exact numbers I caught, cause they came to qhick to count. It was somewhere around 8 blues, 4 channels and a flathead. Here are some pics.

JD, the spinning reels I have in the boat are A zebco blue runner 60( Mean Gene gave me this reel at the Henderson gathering), a Jarvis Walker, and a Tica LH8000(my favorite reel). I bought three of the Ticas, I gave one to my father and kept two(wish I had ten), the mate to this one got pulled into the Ohio. Chuck(Ka_c4_Boom) fished it out two days later and when I went to clean the sand and mud out of it I lost a part, go figure. Vern

Thanks fer sharing Vern. Check out the fishermanspartscan for parts.
They helped me with some antique parts for my dad's ole reels. Had em to me in about a week. Posted emails to me and service was good. Their online catalogue shows ya the pictures of the parts too. I'm easy to impress but I thought it was neat. Got some old beaters up I was certain I wouldn't be able to get parts; they were so old.
