    Sorry When I made this post it kind of ran the numbers together the water temp is 44 deg.

    We were out on the water yesterday up in the Maysville area and it looked like the average was around 47 degrees.....Springs a comin!:roll_eyes:

    Thanks for the heads up. I have never fished MehlDahl dam. Can you give me some info about the catfishing there? Best time of year, bait availibility, shovels range from...Blues??? Thanks, Paul Gaines

    Meldahl seems to bring in alot of everything, simply because its packed to the gills with bait fish. We have caught flatheads there to 55lbs, and blues well into the 45+ lb range. It seems to me like the blues and channels frequent the area more than flatheads.
