The Ohio jumped about 2 feet last night near Cincinnati.

Thinking about bank fishing this morning.

    Good idea or bad?

    Great news.
I'll be out tonight on my buddies property.
The river is going to crest tonight while we're fishing.
Not to mention there's a cold front rolling through tonight. I'm really confident about tonight, couldn't really ask for better conditions.

I thought the same thing, river coming up for the first time in months these fish should be on fire!!! Not the case last night, once again the river reminded me that I have no clue what I am doing, thinking of selling the boat and hangin it up...:smile2::eek:oooh:

Travis, I hear ya, we sucked something fierce last night, but me and Fishdealer04, we were glad you guys left so we were not in last place, seems everyone got into fish except us..... So much for having a plan and sticking to it, again, like you guys, I thought we had a good chance after finding a ton of fish last weekend. Seems the fish were not in 10,20,30,40,50,60 or even in 68 ft of water for us.... Drifted about 12 miles of river last night without so much as a nibble. finally anchored up durring the rain storm to avoid all the lightning and found a few small bites and Brian finally put us on the board with a 2 lb flattie to keep the wet smell of skunk off the boat. Until next weekend, will start the planning process all over again.

Bottom line is just because fish were there a few days earlier, doesnt mean they will be there today.......and when they were not. Our plan went to crap.

I think it was like 54 pounds or something. Ken the guy that won weighed in 3 flatheads biggest being 39.6 pounds that he caught in his first spot right after the tournament started.
