Ask this question to some of the Ky boys. I'm thinking there is a grain loading south and north of Smithland Dam. Maybe around Reedland Ky. I can't remember.

I was there yesterday and there were no barges being loaded. That usually happens when grain pricess go up. This starts them to moving grain. Harvest time is coming up (right after labor day) and there will be lots of barges loaded then.

We drifted down that way using cut skipjack and caught (21) fish between 8lbs and 24lbs, during a tournament with a five fish limit. Total weight was 71.0lbs at weigh-in. Couldn't MAKE them take shad!!!!
