Ohio River flathead catfish

    caught this one a few weeks ago in a tourny out of marietta oh. she was 46 1/2 in and 48 #s. caught her at 11 at night and the weigh in wasnt until 10 the next morning. still managed to keep her alive and healthy and she returned no worse for the wear, back into the river to spawn another year.

    Im always impressed to see somebody catching a nice flat like that, not everybody can do it. good luck on your next one.

    nightprowler- she hit on a 4-6 inch live shiner, one from a farm pond not one of those tame ones you get from a bait shop. the poor shiner didnt sit on the bottom for much more than 5 minutes!
