Good luck to those who dare, I tried to fish at Owensboro tonight and was having some luck, 1 20lb blue and a 8lber. Then about 7 pm they must have opened the gates at all the dams above Owensboro because the current and logs got bad, I couldn't keep a 6oz wieght on the bottom.
The river levels forecast at Evansville are 20.4 today, 22.2 Friday, 27.2 Saturday, 30.2 Sunday and cresting at 35.5 Monday.
    Good luck and be safe.

Yeah I wasn't expecting to catch any blues, I was actually targeting flats in a brush pile in 25' of water. Both were on the outside pole with live shad. Caught a few flats there last week and one small blue. I fish around Owensboro mainly got these not too far from the ramp.
Spotsville will be high with no current or even back current due to the rising Ohio, you might be better off making a run to Calhoun or Livermore. I've seen guys catch the flatheads like crazy at the dam at Calhoun under the spillway while I was striper fishin, I plan on trying it next week.
    Good luck
