Got out on the Ohio River on Friday near Derby Indiana. Fished the area around the mouth of Oil Creek. Ended up catching 6 fish between 8-24lbs in about 5 hours of fishing. Bait was easy up in the creek. The shad were everywhere. We fished ledges with structure on the outside of a bend. Water temps were around 48 degrees and it was nice to finally see some current back in the river. Tried to fish again Saturday down near Cannelton, but my boat motor too a dive and I ended up spending the day doing other stuff. Here is a pic of my 24lber. It was from a cell phone with the sun at my back, so it isnt the best. Peace y'all....
