We've had alot of rain here in Southern Indiana, "over 3 inchs"
I was wondering how that affects the Catfish ?
I've been told it's good fishing when the river is falling...rising.... steady. I haven't been able to tell much difference at all ???
We're planning on go fishing Sunday morning anyway !!!!!!
    Thanks ..................

Personally, I can hardy get a bit when the river is falling...Rising is always the ticket it for me...But the rain itself seems like it is a good thing, fish always seem to get a little busy after rain, I will be out there tommorow night, so we will see what i can do..Good luck to you on Sunday brother

My company sits right on the Ohio River and I can say that when the river is up to 40 ft.+ (52ft. flood stage where I am)it is really good fishing on the banks in the calmer waters and eddies that form. I like to get out my cigar floaters and troll or just throw out some cut baits. As far as changes in depth within or around pool stage I don't notice much of a difference in fishing. Good luck!
