Drove over the Markland Dam two nights ago and saw the steps leading down from the park to the bank led right into the river. The river is really high at least past Madison and probably all the way to Louisville. There were several places along Ind. 56 where lowlands were flooded.

Sure will be nice to have the banks below the dam back.

I also hope the water comes down soon. It would be a bummer when me,bigcatfish64 and whiskers67 hit the ohio river at the first of june with flood waters. We will go anyway to get away and fish those small lakes down there but we are planning our trip around the river. I guess all we can do is pray, keep our fingers cross and ask the rain main to stop.
