    Shane,
They were at Newburgh dam last weekend. You can get them from the shore on the KY side from the wall at the side of the dam.

We hammered the skips last Monday on the lower side of the Falls of the Ohio, Indiana side. They were all big, 1.5 - 2.5lbs, so I wouldn't recommend tying more than two jigs on. I was using 1/4oz white jigs with white grub. Park in the museum lot and walk down to the rock outcrop. Going back down there tomorrow, hopefully get the freezer filled!

    Good luck bros!

Went down today, the river is way up, should have checked the hydro info.

I could see some skips hitting the surface, but it was too far out and the shore was covered with drift trees.

Probably going back next week, keep you posted.

    Can't wait to come down!

Got to thank you and Steve for helping a city boy like me to become a better fisherman! I wouldn't know the first thing about catching skipjack if it wasn't for you guys.

my nephew caught a bunch of big skippies in the creek here last week. We're about 40 creek miles from the river. Its been years since I seen a single one caught out of this creek. They were at the spillway of a local lake. Theyve been biting pretty well IN the river as well.
