Ohio flathead catfish and other catfish.

    Brothers I'm goning to make this short and to the point. Any one catching? This heat is shutting me down bad.

    the hot weather has slowed the fishing some, but hang in there they will be around soon. water temps. are high right now. think of areas you can fish that may have a higher level of oxygen right now. ex. around low-head dams, colverts moving water, or simply shallow riffles with fast current. remember baitfish have to breathe too! so if they aren't in an area you usually see them, most likely the predator isn't either. you will figure it out..goodluck, rollo

    It does seem pretty tough right now. Catching bait seems to be the hardest. Try varying the depth you are fishing until you find where the fish are at. The deeper water looses oxygen now and the cats and other fish will be suspended above that level.
