Make a list of names of area ramps. Using river gauges common on the web, list what level is too low to put the average boat in & what level is too high to launch.
Please, only add pertinent information. This is for information only, not chit chat. If you know the info for sure, please fill in the blanks. Add ramps below as needed.

Platin Rock Boat Club Ramp (Mississippi River)
Too low = Flood Stage = To high to launch =30'

Truman Access Area Ramp (Mississippi River)
Too low = Flood Stage = To high to launch =

Flamm City (Arnold Meramec Access to Mississippi River)
Too low = 8' Flood Stage = To high to launch =

George Winter Park Ramp (Meramec River)
Too low = Flood Stage = To high to launch =

    Fenton/Kirkwood Ramps (Meramec River)
Too low = Flood Stage = To high to launch =

Maple Island/Melvin Price Ramp (Mississippi River)
Too low = Flood Stage = To high to launch =

    Alton Marina Ramp (Mississippi River)
Too low = Flood Stage = To high to launch =

    ????????????
Too low = Flood Stage = To high to launch =

    ????????????
Too low = Flood Stage = To high to launch =

    ????????????
Too low = Flood Stage = To high to launch =

Kirkwood/Fenton (Vallypark), 3 foot on the Vallypark gage and i'm not sure of the upper limit, but have put in when the water was over the top of the ramp when the parking lot was still dry.

I can put in and fish my spots, in any thing over 3 foot, under that and your going to run into gravel bars and shallow water.

But i'm running a heavy, glass bassboat, I sure lighter jon's and jet props could get out in less water.

The problem is not at the ramp, but up and down river.

One more thing, if you go there and there are no parking spots left, DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS, or your going to have a little some thing under your wiper blade when you return.

Maple Island = to high is 21'.....to low, it varies, it all depends on how well they dig out the bottom of the ramp after the water drops.

Piasa Creek.. If the gates are open full blast at Alton then it's usually too low to launch.. If the water isn't over the river road then it's not too high

Just got off the phone with the Columbia Bottoms office, they couldn't tell me where the river level had to be to close their ramp, however they said their ramp is currently closed and will be for a couple days. I checked the Missouri river gage at St Charles and it looks to be cresting today at 31.82'. So, I would say that when the Missouri river is at roughly 30', Columbia Bottoms ramp is not usable.
