Off the skunklist.........Guess the weight

    Ok guys I am off the the skunklist. Whats the weight of my flathead based on your expert opinions? :wink:

    I'd say 40-45 lbs. Flatheads will weigh aliitle more than they look.

    I believe it is somewhere in the mid 30's but its hard to tell from a picture. Congrats on your catch.

    I'd say in the neighborhood of 25 pounds. Doesn't appear to have the head size an girth to be pushn 40. But pics can be deceiving for sure. Nonetheless, congratulations on getting off the skunklist and that's a nice flatty no matter the weight.

    28# count the wiskers x3 add 6 to it divide bye four take half off for daylight saveing time and you get 27. hell i cant ever get faltheads right. so 27 it is.....lmao

    That fish is pushing every bit of 40lbs. the fish is from his chin to his knee's long plus there is alot of weight in his head.

    And I'm with Russ, Flatheads are HARD to judge sometimes. :smile2: Fun as sheet to guess though. Ok, ok, let it out already PipeRat. The suspense is killin a brother. :smile2::wink:

    Ok Piperat, final guess for me. Its between 20 and 60 :smile2:

    If you hold my hand to the fire, I'm forced to stick with the 25 pounds. :cool2::smile2:

    However, after zooming in on your fish, and inspecting it, :cool2: I'm upping my guess to 28-29 pounds. Thats my final answer :choler::cross::0a32:
