Hi y'all hey just wanted to see ifin any y'all fish out there its a city permit lake but has some decent fish.

Oh heck yeah. used to get the permit from the old guy on the corner who took care of the place, but havent seen him in a couple of years and have had to buy in town at City Hall. I havent made it out yet this year but always seem to some land some nice cats and bass out there. And not lots of pressure.

Yaa jake thats what i like about the place. Gotttttaaa to get my little boat all legal i can see there being some good fish in there. cople buddys have caught a few nice channels and flatheads out a there. not huge but respectful. and if the catfish aint bitein the bass,crappie and gills will keep ya honest.I was suprised the old gentleman wasnt there this yr.

Haven't fished in awhile but was always a good eater lake. Think the only place to get the permit is at City Hall as mentioned.

Well spent most of sunday after noon fishing the creek inlet at the east side of the pond fished night crawlers not even bait stolen. went to where the pond goes into the lake and fished around some of the concrete structure. no takers when leaving seen a little trail over the bank and checked it out and thrownin double jigs caught 4-5 bait sized Blue gill and about a doz bass 8-12 inchs long . Caught some other Blue gills that should be real tastie they were 8-10 inch and catching doubles was a blast. bass fishermen were haveing a hayday or the 2-3 boats that come by were draggin in bass about every other cast. I need to find a spot to get decent worms caseys night crawlers leave alot to be desired.

Just got home from Odessa. Only got very little, 2-3", shad in the net but caught some VERY nice gills that I kept to eat! Got lots of bass in the 15-18" range. Tossed out some gills and little shad for a couple of hours with no takers. Nice night out, love this temp!!

Hey Jake keep a close eye around out there along the bank ive found 3-4 rods layin mite have the tip broke off but still way usuable. The Bass were tearing up shad or chasing Gils alog that south bank . was hopeing to catch a 3-4 inch Lil Pizzed off Perch to toss where they were workin but couldnt buy a bite till i got around the corner.

Well were headed back in the morning to see what can be caught.gona try some live gills and some cut.got to be a hungry catfish in there By Now. Gona take the ultralight just to keep my sanity. will remember to take basket this time also.. Was able to find some decent night crawlers at walmart for a change.Hopefully when i backed over the sack it didnt kill all a them(OPPS)

Well the lake was pretty nice this morning after a shower come thru. caught 25-30 nice eater Blue Gill. had night crawlers and cut gill on the big rods . No takers on the cut bait at all.Thinking about hittin jacomo bout day light in the morning.

well fished the small lake on that resivior from 430 till 10:00pm not even a smell. was fishin fresh bluegill and shad. tok almost a hr to catch bait man it was slow. bass fishing guys were havein a hayday lots a 3-4 lb'er all on lil buzz bait top water stuff.
