I've heard of it , never used it though. Usually when I buy chicken breasts , I do so with eating them in mind. I may give it a shot.

Have not heard of this....however.... I believe it will work.. the catfish's body is in tuned to pick up tiny traces of amino acids... which are the building blocks for proteins..( aka muscle ) the chicken breast is muscle and as it brakes down releases amino acids...science says this will work.. my two cents worth !

I had a guy out on the river go on and on about how chicken hearts were the best bait ever. I have never tried them because damn that is a nasty mess. Like shad, skips and what not are not enough of a mess ... chicken hearts? I'm sure they probably do work though.

I have heard of it but never tried it.I can say for sure they will eat a chicken heart and livers but never had any luck on a chicken gizzard.I am sure a blue would eat a chicken breast but he will have to fight me for it.

so do they prefer original or extra crispy?lol . maybe grilled?

as far as a catfish is concerned I'll bet meat is meat, probably doesn't matter if its road killed sparrows or chicken breasts.

Chicken Breast does work. I've never got any hogs, mostly eaters, biggest cat for me on chicken breast is 10 lbs. I like to use breast when im jug fishing, for eaters. A few times I baited my jugs with half chicken breast, the other half chicken gizzards. The breast always got most of the fish. Gizzards will stay on the hook for days though.

I've read about using chicken breast on here, soaked in vanilla or garlic might work too.

I got some hearts and gizzard to use, but I been eating em. I hate messing with liver. Gonna try some venison kidney next.

tried it for a couple hours today caught 12 Bullhead between 1-2 LBs with bites from many more. Pretty good bait they didnt waste anytime hitting itand they bit the whole time, hardly ever went 10 minutes without a bite.
