Hey, guys, I live not far from OSP and I know there are huge catfish in the bigger pond but they are better than Houdini at escaping...Has anyone ever tangled with a huge cat there? They are there, but I wonder if the bottom is littered with stumps and trees and they just bust the line underwater or something.

I've been just inside the gates but never fished it.

Oconee State Park is north of Walhalla...In the mountains of Oconee County. Look it up on the internet under South Carolina Parks and it should be there.

Man, I didn't think Oconee had any good sized cats. I had terrible luck on Hartwell the other night, still watin for it to warm up.
