i was up fishing in yankton when a man from columbus not part of this board, was talking to me about fishing asked if i fish the canal we talked for a bit and he swore up and down that the oconee siphon was the spot to be. has anybody tryed this spot and if so do i fish the west side of the siphon or the east?

for some reason there is always a bunch of people fishing there on the return side where the water comes back above ground,as to being better than other spots,well that is probably just a figment of someones imagination, lots of different holes to fish on the canal,some are easier to find than others.
