It is a good river but never heard of any real big cats comming from it.
Its a creek, which i hope its good, but i wanna no if there are any other fish instead of catfish.
I heard that just below the Jackson Lake dam that they wear out Shellcrackers with a poppin cork and a chartreuse poppin lure( I forget the name of it)
The Ocmulgee is a nice little river with very swift water. It has some nice cats in the 20 - 30 pound range with a few in the 40 - 50 range but they are few and far between. If you can find the right holes you can fill a cooler with 10 pound or below whiskers.
well well well, An Ocmulgee fan. It did look like a nice river from the bridge. How deep is it and do you know where i can catch these fish? Parks, Bridges, etc.
Where are you going in from I have fished the Ocmulgee aroun Houston co. from the banks and had very little luck let me know how you do
I dont live there anymore but more house is rite next to the chattahooche! :D
