We are heading down to O.H. Ivie this weekend. We plan on wetting a hook off of the banks and exploring around because we have never been to the lake before.

Are there any locations that can fuit some kitty's without a boat?

    Thanks for your response!

Here is the Report on last weekend:

Friday we arrived at the grounds by the dam and got the tent pitched just in time for the turd floater. Lighting went on all night and we actually got some sleep between 5:00am and 7:00.

Saturday morning we went to Concho Park and bought a few minows. We drove around till we found a little hidden road that lead us to an exposed road that use to be underwater. It was right across from Turkey Bend. We dove down it and found an old culvert bridge.

Wife went to one sided for minnow fishing and I on the other for cats. Bam! She caught several white bass in no time and I caught a 3.5 pound cat. All in about 30 minutes. We hung around that area for the rest of the day and weathered another storm on Saturday night. Then we fished till noon on Sunday.

All we had to show for it was our first 30 minutes. Didn't catch a thing after that.

The water is low and gettin through the salt cedar is a whip. YOu not going to find many places to bank fish.
