Took a fella I work with and his son out today. It was a refreshing 29 degrees when we launched and warmed up to a comfy 54. Water temp was 46. Most of our fish were caught in 8 to 12 feet of water. With the water bein cold I have to assume thats why the bite was not real aggressive. Caught plenty of fish, but it was no time to be usein circle hooks. Smaller baits and "J" hooks were the answer. Eel, fresh liver and croaker gut pockets were on the menu and greeted well. LOL! I get alot of enjoyment when I'm able to take people out on my boat and put em on fish. Heres a couple of pics to bore ya. LOL!
