Put in at JP about 6 am, tried to catch bait there, but wind and tide working together made it nearly impossible. Went to Herring Creek, set out gill and got about 20 cutters in 5 minutes. Went down to Flowerdew, fished a few sets and only caught a 29 lber and a 20 lber. WINDY! Rode around and marked some nice fish, set up on em, no luck. Went back to Herring Creek, gave 6 or 7 shad to two guys in a Sea-Pro. Fished a couple of proven holes there, no bigguns. Took aut about 1:00. Found a nice storage facility to keep boat, drove home. Maybe next time. Thanks for bait information.

Thanks for the report Berkley...headed for the James Friday. Better luck next time. I may try Jordan Point area if the wind isn't not to bad...right now they are just calling for light winds.
