Congrats! Nice release! What was the weight?
Pretty flathead, congrats
thats a good one for lanier......real good! obviously they're in there, and growing......hopefully they take off in the next few years. What's the weight? looks like in the neighborhood of 25-30? might challenge for the top GA HOF spot?
Weight please.
Congratulations, what did you catch it on, and how much did it weigh?
Congrats again Joe, still looking for my first from Lanier. I have a friend that caught four last year, 2 of them over 20 lbs. He could have a lake record, but he didn't want to mess with it.
Great Job Joe!! That is a great looking flathead and a nice release! Now if you just give me the grid coordinates to that hole I will try to break it again!
It would be really nice if we knew how much it weighed. :confused2:
Sorry I been fishin! LOL
Good lookin fish Joe. But remember the jerseycat doesnt sleep he waits LOL Im also looking to break that lake record
We had caught 5 channels in the 2-4lb range, lost 9 fish 3 of which were bigger than 4lb and had my first broke line by a fish in 10yrs
Well I missed it by 3lbs, someone caught a flathead last year on a crappie jig that weighed 31lb 4oz, 3lbs heavier than mine. Sure don't look it but DNT weighed and certified it. However his was frozen and dead and mine swam off to be caught again when 5 lbs heavier
That guy in the pic must be 8 feet tall! That sure don't look no 30+! Yours looked a lot bigger!
Congrats Joe! That's a nice Flathead man!
nice fish, cool that you released it.
Same thing I stated on another forum that I would not put his fish but a little over 20lbs
I am still going to put in for the DNR angler award anyway, who knows maybe something will come out of it
I remember when he caught that fish, Back then I said there was no way that fish weighed that much...:confused2: Not trying to take anything away from him but I dont see it...There are a couple more pics of it on hanging in a tree that dont look like it eather...
Nice work! That fish looks like a brute!
