Hows the trash Bill? Lord I would have thunk that all that stuff was cleaned out what last month? the shot they were showing on the tv earlier sure looked like one of them 80 foot maple trees headed south:eek:oooh:

Well all I can say is thank god for 4-wheel drive. Me and my brother Shawn got out there in that madness. We did find some nice dinks in about 5-10ft from the bank. Here are some pictures of a nice night out.

Hey there Chris! Quick question for ya......is Columbia Bottoms out of commission? What level does the river have to be at to make the CB ramp unusable? If it's good to go this Sunday afternoon, you want to get out there?

Bill, I don't remember what the river level has to be before it's closed. I do know it was closed monday and it was reopened today. Last I heard they were thinking water may over top the levee again tomorrow and were planning on closing the place down again. I will find out tomorrow.

I can't make it this weekend. I have to work both days. I can go monday or tuesday if you want to try it one of those days.

I would love to get out there Monday or tuesday, but alas I have to be at this prison called work! Believe me, I would much rather be fishing than working any day of the week! :smile2:

That would be great if you get let me/us know about CB, I may try to get out Friday if it's open and then again on Sunday....Thanks Chris!

    Willie, got an extra plate?

You know, I have noticed that we keep going around in circles on the topic of river levels and what ramp is open, to low, too high etc., etc..
Please, can we get together and sort it all out? Make a list of names of area ramps. Using river gauges common on the web, list what level is too low to put the average boat in & what level is too high.
Any volunteers that know specific ramps quite well?
