North east Ohio lakes

    what are the best lakes in north east ohio for some good cats???

    If you are looking for Channel Cats, they are just about everywhere you turn. Give me some more details about you're location and I'll try to be more specific.

    im up around ladue and mosquito lake and all of the above but i havent had much of a chance to do any catfishin up here, so what is the best and where??

    I know the state record came out of ladue. That lake should have some good catfishing since that big cat came from that lake. I havnt had a chance to try it myself, but i would love to get out there soon.:big_smile:

    Mosquito is a good cat lake. The best one that I hae fished this year is Springfield Lake on Route 224 east of Akron/Canton area. We had three over 10 pounds weighed in during a tournament there. Berlin Lake is also good, had a couple of 12+ pounders from there. I have never fished Ladue before.
