    well, went down to the river for a couple of hours this morn. didn't get there 'till 11am, and that isn't a good time to be there. the bite was on when i first got there.....missed several fish right off the bat. got a nice channel right to the bank that would go 5 or 6lbs.....managed to land a 3.5lber before they quit biting......not very big fish, admittedly, but it was nice to catch a couple and get out of the house.

    I have been fishing the Deep fork and picking up some nice eaters on stink bait and worms. I have also been doing really well on bull bluegills that around 9" - 10" in area ponds.
