LMAO!!! Sounds like a plan to me. I'm glad i'm not the only one who is ready to go!
    I take that back...Its 99* now. :cool2::big_smile:

    Darryl,
Ya got any skippies or shad? Shad are becoming extinct around here. Last time out we went to 4-5 places where we usually get them but after about 100 throws we got 15 small(2-3") shad.
I'll go catch a mess of gills and warmouth. Be ready,I'll be there soon as I can...:cool2::smile2:

It is too hot...really for us to fish at this time. There is no end in sight for this heatwave we're having here in North Central Arkansas as well.

Just a couple of fishing boats out on the Bull Shoals Lake, if any.

Thats what everybody tells me. That its too hot and the fish won't bite. I say they have to eat.
I understand that it may be too hot for some people but i'm ready to go!!!
I've spent the day re-rigging my rigs, oiling them and getting ready to go catch a biggun!

I was actually debating going fishing early this afternoon but I figured it would be to hot for the fish to be biting. I am going to head out to see if they are hungry after the sun goes down.

I dont know about in the afternoons but I went fishing yesterday morning until about 11am. Catfish wouldnt bite but I was tearing up the bluegill and bass on cured liver once I switched to smaller hooks. I was sweating the whole dang time even in the shade.

John it's 101, index 105.....I just hosed down my dog who's scared of water and he didn't even flench....not sure he's gonna make it. It's so hot I can see the hummingbird wings. Can almost catch one with your hand.
I don't know what the Dr. Rx'd, but it must be some good stuff.
The crawlers in my fridge died, and the butter is soft.
    Yipes!

Its 95* and 104* heat index. I talked to my Cuz to see if he wanted to go fishing and he said it was too hot....Its pretty warm out.:smile2:
I went out and hosed down the dogs, they still didn't like it!
The good thing about fishing on days like this is very little people will be out!
Were under a heat advisory until 7pm friday. I think i'll go this evening with or without my Cuz. I've got flathead fever!!! :smile2:

We broke the heat record yesterday 101 and will probably do it again today and tomorrow, 102. The record goes back to 1930.

John, if I were closer to ya we would be on the water by now in a boat.
It is always cooler on the water. It is only 91 here right now and I'm going fishing.
