Still trying to learn how to troll crankbaits and believe I have learned 1 thing.
My last 2 morning trips out to Okatibbee, Tuesday was overcast and windy, caught 14 crankbait trolling and was pretty happy with the results. Size was pretty good too. Today, bluebird and no wind, started out with the cranks and caught 1 keeper. Went to my normal tube jigs and not much action, so I put a lighter head on and bubble bellies looking for a smaller profile. Caught 15 more before I quit at 10:00. Lost a lot of keepers and had a lot of touches. Believe I will just stay home if no wind or cloud cover, too hot otherwise along with the hard fishing.
