So we drove and hour to the Meldahl Lock and Dam and didnt get 1 bit. We used bluegills, shad, and skip jack. The water was really muddy it was up 4ft. Hopeing thats why we didnt get any bites????

There will be plenty more chances. Keep up the study on the BOC, remember it is the hardest time of year to catch them

YES it is due to the spawn!!!!!!! Time to get all the house work done and wait ....for me anyhow.

They r called "Mudcats" due to them being caught in muddy water alot and if fact muddy water helps protect the young Flats from the sight feeders.
