Hi all. Something funny happened today. I was fishing Lake Murray in La Mesa today. Had a 2/0 hook baited with shrimp and tacked on with a worm. I decided to check my bait and low and behold...10 inch long and very thick fat bluegill had hooked up. The only thing I like better than catching a bluegill is a good channel cat. There you have my fish story for this cold Sunday. Steve

thank you all for the welcome. I have been lurking around here for a while. I ate that bluegill today and he tasted fine. I wanted to go aout again today but honestly the wind and rain and cold just discouraged me even though I think the fishing would have been terrific. I have caught some good channels from shore on windy days with cloud cover. Anyway you all know about that and thanks again for the warm welcome. Steve
