Hard to imagine that there is a 3 way tie for 1st right now & that only one team in the division does not have a winning record (Pirates)
Stand By...it will change!...LOL
I hate Pujols. :sad_02: 3 HR's including a game winning walk off homer in the bottom of the 9th.
Actually I hear he is a great guy, please dont hit any more HR's versus the Reds though!
whatta game today "easter sunday" albert gets 3 dingers today and we beat the reds in the bottom of the 9th off alberts last 2 run blast
ray can we bash cubs here
ok now that im in the right division LOL thanks ken
i will continue cheering for the cardinals here.
bryon i guess i can feel your pain . not LOL:lol:
but your right he is not only a great athlete but he' s a stand up guy as well.
haveing said they won in the ninth goes to show cinncinatti wasnt a cake walk
glad we had the top of the order up in that inning.
:big_smile_2: WAY TO ALBERT.NOBODY BETTER.THAT GUY IS AMAZING WHAT HE CAN DO WITH A BAT. GREAT COME FROM BEHIND WIN TODAY.
Only after the "June Swoon" LMAO!!!
Don't hate Pujols, hate the Reds manager & pitcher for pitching to him with the game on the line, knowing he had already hit 2 home runs! LOL
ricono?? spelled right??
our pitcher in yesterdays game was pretty rank to say the least
what goes through your mind when you allow 15 guys to drill one off
your pitching and theres no end in sight??
we started out ok but by the 6th inning we were pretty much toast.
hope we have a better pitcher this next game and come home with 2 of 3 anyways .
i like pittsburgs field it looked pretty neat.
Rincon and Izzy both look like crap to me this year!
well i guess since this is a NL Central thread this is where i belong 1. Mad props to Pujols....4 HR in 4 consecutive ABs....tying a record with like 27 other ppl....of which the only other cardinal is stan musial 2. why the hell do the cubs even try anymore??? for gods sake they need to hire a new training staff that can figure out how to not kill their pitchers every single year 3. and one question....has anyone here been to the new Busch Stadium????i went last thursday to the brewers-cards game when carlos lee hit the HR off izzy in the 11th...and i must say the new park is awesome....even though i miss the old Busch i find the new one quite enjoyable except for one thing....the out-of-town scoreboard is really hard to see from the 1st base line!
havent got to see INSIDE busch stadium but we drove past it on interstate 40 and from the outside it looks really great.
i still miss the old arches at the top of the old stadium .
too bad they couldnt incorporate that into the new one.
carpenter for cy young.
i missed hearing the game all i know is they won
i sure wish they would get a couple more pitchers
it seems we are always hurting in the pitching dept.
i take it carpenter got the win today?
how many innings did he go?
8 innings gave up 2 hits
So, the Cubs are already without Wood and Prior, and today they lose D. Lee for 8-10 weeks due to a wrist fracture compliments of Rafael Frucal.:beated:
:0a32: PERSONALLY I WISH THEY WOULD GET RID OF IZZY. HE MAKE ME NERVIOUS EVERYTIME THEY BRING HIM IN.LAST COUPLE TIME HE GOT THE JOB DONE BUT STILL WORRYS ME. JUST DON'T CARE FOR THE GUY.
tuff loses there Ray better luck next year to all you cub fans. NOT! sorry i just couldn't help myself.
