I have learned a lot on the BOC forums about where to locate cats during the day. I have heard little about how that strategy changes at night. I am aware that they move to shallow water to feed at night. What do you look for to determine if you have a good spot? How do you decide where to fish at night?

It waries depending on the seasons, but now they are still feeding on shallow flats at night. Spawn has begun which will make it a little harder to locate them. Follow the bait.

I look for good shallow flats near deeper water or deeper channels, then I look to see if bait is plentiful in that area. I also check what kinda of ambush/cover there is on that flat to determine where to drop my lines.
