Some of my hunten buddies go to carlyle lake every year to camp so they wanted me to come down. i left friday around noon with boat in tow to do some drift fishen. went out friday afternoon for a little bit and managed 4 channels in about an hour then picked up and took a boat ride around the lake to look for a sat. morning spot. went out about 9:30 in the am and had one he11 of a time in 3 1/2 hours we caught 28 fish with one channel just over 15lbs and 2 others over 10lbs with the rest in the 3 to 6lb range. then we had a sat evening fish fry and boy was it good. was going to fish sunday morning to but storms were headed are way so we packed up and left.

Good Stuff Slider. Yeah, it was a nice weekend. Ryan and I met up with Jason and Bill yesterday at CB around 4:30. Got home around 5:30 this morning. It was an alright night. Thanks Jason, for taking me out. You saved me about 100 bucks in gas. I'll return the favor one of these days.

Sorry to hear about that Steve. There were definately some widow-makers coming down stream. I don't think it was us that you saw. We never saw another boat all night except Jason and Grump.
