Nice past 3 days

    My fiance cought 2 carp 1 15 pounds the other 17 pounds kept them because I know my grandma loves carp and I cought a 12 pound Flathead all in all not a bad past 3 nights I guess..:smile2: Probley going back out tomorrow morning ..:big_smile:Can't wait to catch me my first over 20 pounder..:misdoubt::0a18:

    Welcome to the BOC Darin. I was the same way with a fish over 20lbs when I first got on here. With the help from the BOC brothers and sisters I do it pretty regulary now. You will hit it sooner than you think.

    Usually fish about 100 yards after the casino here in st.joe..I'm a bank fisher mostly have a boat but don't like to use it..

    I used different baits from fresh cut shad,chicken livers and minnows from a creek by my house and they was hitting the minnows hard but they hardly touched the shad or chicken livers.Haven't tried perch or bluegill yet to see how they do.

    I was using 2 Garcia baitcaster reels and i'm so not use to casting them yet..So thinking about buying 2 Shakespeare Tiger 7' Spinning Rod and Reel Combo from wal-mart it's a medium-heavy power and medium action rod and can hold 40lb test line and lure weight 3/8oz to 3oz so sounds like a good deal.I know people say a Garcia is the best reel you can get but I don't like casting reels.:cool2:
