All 9 gates open. Caught 8. Nothing of any size. Stripers were crushing my bait along with saug's.

That dam is one of my favorite for bumping for cats. We have caught a lot of blues there when the gates are open. Good luck guys I sure wished I lived closer cause I would be down there tonight. Normally when water goes from dead to active the fish go crazy!!

Yeah, 7 stripers dozen or so saug's. Didn't have a whole lot of time this morning, so I didn't spend a whole lot of time looking for bait. Just grabbed some 3-4" minnows from the worm ranch. Best part, I was the only one below the dam. Not a single car but mine at the Newburgh ramp. As for current it was extremely fast. Idle on my 80 horse kept me in place or barely moving. Site I use is showing water lvl at 16.49 up from 12.2 24 hours ago.
